DECREE-LAW
OF THE COUNCIL CHAIRMAN NO. 005/SL ON FEBRUARY 28, 1959
PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
WHEREAS Decree-Law No. 198 - SL dated June 13, 1948 established the procedures for setting up and amending administrative boundaries;
WHEREAS Decree-Law No. 221 - SL dated February 22, 1955 established the Hong Quang District;
CONSIDERING that adjusting the boundary of the Hong Quang District is beneficial to the people's livelihood and local administration work;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR, APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS;
ISSUES THIS DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
The Dong Trieu District, which was previously under the Hong Quang District, is now returned to Hai Duong Province.
Article 2
The Minister of Interior shall be responsible for implementing this Decree-Law.
