DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Regarding the issuance of the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Humanities Field at the Bachelor's Degree Level

MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries equivalent to the status of a ministry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/ND-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government determining the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 201/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 10, 2004 of the Government on issuing regulations on managing scientific and social and humanistic activities;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached hereto is the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Humanities Field at the Bachelor's Degree Level, which includes eight framework curricula (for eight majors) as follows:

1. Philosophy Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

2. Linguistics Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

3. Literature Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

4. Han Nom Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

5. History Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

6. Vietnam Studies Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

7. Oriental Studies Major, Bachelor's Degree Level;

8. International Relations Major, Bachelor's Degree Level.

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

The Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Humanities Field at the Bachelor's Degree Level attached hereto shall be applied in universities and university-level institutions with the responsibility to train the aforementioned eight majors at the Bachelor's Degree Level.

Article 3. The Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Education shall be responsible for guiding the rectors of universities and academies and the principals of university-level institutions in developing specific school curricula, organizing the compilation and approval of common textbooks in accordance with regulations.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Education, the heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the rectors of universities and academies, and the principals of university-level institutions are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
