JOINT RESOLUTION

ON THE ADOPTION OF "CRITERIA FOR CLASSIFICATION, SCORING AND EVALUATION, AND REPORTING FORMS REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF DRUG- AND PROSTITUTION-FREE HEALTHY VILLAGES, WARD, TOWNS"

MINISTRY OF LABOUR - INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS - MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SECURITY - MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM - CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE FEDERATION OF VIETNAMESE UNION

Pursuant to the functions, tasks and authorities of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Central Committee of the Federation of Vietnamese Union;
To improve the quality of state management in preventing and combating drug addiction and prostitution at village, ward, town level;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department for Prevention and Control of Social Evils under the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Head of the Legal Department under the Ministry of Public Security; the Director of the Cultural Foundation Bureau under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Chairman of the Mobilization Committee under the Central Committee of the Federation of Vietnamese Union,

RESOLVE

Article 1. To promulgate with this Joint Resolution "Criteria for Classification, Scoring and Evaluation, and Reporting Forms Regarding the Construction of Drug- and Prostitution-Free Healthy Villages, Ward, Towns".

Article 2. This Joint Resolution shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace "Criteria for Classification, Scoring and Evaluation, and Reporting Forms Regarding the Construction of Drug- and Prostitution-Free Healthy Villages, Wards, Towns" issued with Joint Resolution No. 01/2005/NQLT-BLĐTBXH-BCA-BVHTT-UBTƯMTTQVN dated November 17, 2005 by the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (formerly the Ministry of Culture and Information); and the Central Committee of the Federation of Vietnamese Union.

Article 3.

1. Heads of agencies under the Ministries of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs; Public Security; Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the Vietnam Fatherland Front shall be responsible for implementing this Joint Resolution.

2. It is requested that People's Committees at provincial and centrally-administered city levels coordinate with the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the Central Committee of the Federation of Vietnamese Union within their respective functions and tasks to organize and implement this Joint Resolution.
