CIRCULAR
Issuing the Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam
The supplementary list of crop varieties permitted for production and business in Vietnam is hereby issued.
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 17, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Plant Variety Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
At the proposal of the Director of the Crop Production Department;
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issues this Circularto issue the Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam.
Article 1. This Circular hereby promulgates the Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam, including: 22 rice varieties, 21 corn varieties, 03 soybean varieties, 02 potato varieties, 01 cassava variety, 01 peanut variety, 04 tobacco variety, 01 cotton variety, 02 mulberry variety, 02 sugarcane variety, 01 longan variety, 02 avocado variety, 01 lychee variety, 01 coconut variety, 01 dragon fruit variety, 01 pomelo variety and 01 orange variety. (Annexed List).
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from March 5, 2019.
Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Crop Production Department, Heads of units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular.
