REGARDING THE REESTABLISHMENT OF THE FOURTH CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION

Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of the State Planning Commission and the Minister of Water Resources to implement Decision No. 90/TTg dated March 7, 1994 of the Prime Minister;

Article 1. Reestablish the Fourth Construction Corporation under the Ministry of Water Resources, consisting of the following member units:
1. The Fourth Hydroelectric Construction Company
2. The Fifth Hydroelectric Construction Company
3. The Sixth Hydroelectric Construction Company
4. The Eighth Hydroelectric Construction Company
5. The Tenth Hydroelectric Construction Company
6. The Hydroelectric Construction and Material Extraction Company
7. The Construction and Equipment Supply Company
8. Binh Trieu Motorcycle Repair Mechanical Plant
9. The Third Mechanized Vocational Training School.
Article 2. The Fourth Construction Corporation has:
1. Its main office located at 79/5 Xo Viet Nghiep Tin Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
2. Business activities:
+ Construction of hydroelectric projects, dikes, irrigation systems.
+ Construction of hydraulic works, hydropower projects.
+ Construction of transportation infrastructure, ports, civil engineering projects, industrial enclosures.
+ Production, extraction, and supply of construction materials.
+ Import and export of materials and equipment for hydroelectric purposes.
+ Design, manufacture, installation of mechanical structures for construction projects, steel structures, and repair of construction machinery serving the tasks of the Corporation.
3. Capital from the state budget and additional self-supplemented capital registered in the application for re-establishment of the enterprise: 102,680.3 million dong.
The Minister of Water Resources shall approve the Charter of the Fourth Construction Corporation based on the model Charter established according to Decision No. 90/TTg dated March 7, 1994 of the Prime Minister, and taking into account the opinions of the Chairman of the State Planning Commission.
Article 3. The Fourth Construction Corporation shall be responsible for registering its business operations and conducting them in accordance with the Charter of the Corporation and relevant state regulations; it shall also bear responsibility before the state and the law for its business activities.
Article 4. The Minister of Water Resources, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the General Director of the Fourth Construction Corporation are responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 5. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Minister of Water Resources, the Ministers, the Heads of agencies at the ministerial level, agencies under the Government, the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the General Director of Construction General Corporation 4 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
