CONFIRMATION OF THE STATUS OF MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE TWELFTH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SESSION
THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM
WHEREAS Article 89 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the Tenth National Assembly, tenth session;
WHEREAS Article 79 of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly;
WHEREAS Article 70 of the Law on the Election of Members of the National Assembly;
After hearing the Election Council's report on the results of the election of members of the Twelfth National Assembly on May 20, 2007, and the report of the Committee for Qualification Review of Members of the National Assembly,
RESOLUTION:
CONFIRMS the status of 493 members of the National Assembly who were announced as elected members of the Twelfth National Assembly in the election held on May 20, 2007 by the Election Council.
This Resolution was adopted by the Twelfth National Assembly, first session, of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on July 19, 2007./.
