Regarding the issuance of industry standards for paper

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 141/HĐBT dated August 24, 1982 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government) promulgating the Regulations on Standardization Work;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Technology Management and Product Quality,

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Attached hereto are three industry standards concerning paper products - production, import and export, and domestic consumption, including:

- 24 TCN 69-2000: Writing Paper - replacing 24TCN 69-96;

- 24 TCN 70-2000: Printing Paper - replacing 24TCN 70-96;

- 24 TCN 71-2000: Newspaper Printing Paper - replacing 24TCN 71-96.

These standards shall take effect and be encouraged for implementation from February 1, 2000.

Article 2. The Director of the Department of Technology Management and Product Quality shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, heads of relevant departments, General Director of Vietnam Paper Joint Stock Corporation, and all enterprises engaged in the production and trading of paper nationwide are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
