ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PRINTING AND MINTING VIETNAMESE CURRENCY

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
BASED ON THE LAW ON THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM IN 1997 AND THE LAW AMENDING AND COMPLEMENTING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM IN 2003;
BASED ON DECREE NO. 52/2003/NĐ-CP OF MAY 19, 2003 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM;
BASED ON DECREE NO. 81/1998/NĐ-CP OF OCTOBER 1, 1998 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON PRINTING, MINTING, STORING, TRANSPORTING, AND DESTROYING PAPER MONEY AND METAL COINS; STORING AND TRANSPORTING PRECIOUS ASSETS AND SECURITIES WITHIN THE BANKING SYSTEM.
REGULATES CASH MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS AND FOREIGN BRANCHES OF BANKS.,

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PRINTING AND MINTING VIETNAMESE CURRENCY.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE DECISION NO. 01/2001/QĐ-NHNN OF FEBRUARY 1, 2001 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM ON THE REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PRINTING AND MINTING VIETNAMESE CURRENCY.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM’S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE ISSUE AND TREASURY DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE OVERALL AUDIT DEPARTMENT, THE HEADS OF THE RELATED UNITS UNDER THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM, AND THE DIRECTORS OF THE PRINTING AND MINTING FACTORIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
