THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE
Pursuant to the Legal Aid Law on June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 07/2007/NĐ-CP dated January 12, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Legal Aid Law;
Pursuant to Decree No. 62/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 6, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice;
At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Aid Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached hereto is the Model Regulation on the organization and operation of State Legal Aid Centers.
Article 2. Based on the Model Regulation and specific conditions of each locality, the People's Committee of provinces and centrally governed cities shall issue Regulations on the organization and operation of State Legal Aid Centers in accordance with the legal provisions on legal aid and this Model Regulation.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 224/1999/QĐ-BTP dated August 5, 1999 of the Minister of Justice issuing the Model Regulation on the organization and operation of State Legal Aid Centers of provinces and centrally governed cities.
Article 4. The Director of the Legal Aid Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Justice, Directors of Provincial Departments of Justice, and Directors of State Legal Aid Centers of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
