Crew Membersof Fisheries Inspection Vessels and Persons Performing Fisheries Inspection Tasks
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 102/2012/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2012 of the Government on the organization and operation of Fisheries Inspection;
At the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
The Prime Minister promulgates this Decision to stipulate the sea duty allowance for Fisheries Inspectors, crew members of Fisheries Inspection vessels, and persons performing fisheries inspection tasks at sea.
Article 1. Scope of Regulation and Applicability
1. Fisheries Inspectors, crew members of Fisheries Inspection vessels, civil servants, public officials, and workers of units under the Fisheries Inspection Bureau, persons appointed or transferred by competent authorities to perform fisheries inspection tasks at sea.
2. Persons assigned by agencies or units to participate in joint implementation of tasks on Fisheries Inspection vessels.
Article 2. Sea Duty Allowance System
The subjects specified in Article 1 of this Decision shall be entitled to a sea duty allowance of 150,000 VND per person per actual day spent at sea performing tasks.
Article 3. Source of Funds and Responsibility for Payment of Sea Duty Allowance
1. The source of funds for implementing the sea duty allowance system stipulated in this Decision shall be allocated from the state budget according to the provisions of the State Budget Law.
2. The Fisheries Inspection Bureau shall be responsible for paying the sea duty allowance to persons falling within the scope specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of this Decision.
3. Agencies or units assigning personnel to participate in joint implementation of tasks on Fisheries Inspection vessels shall be responsible for paying the sea duty allowance to persons falling within the scope specified in Clause 2, Article 1 of this Decision.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from March 1, 2015.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
