THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management of product quality;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Standard Measurement Quality Control Department;

DECISION:

Article 1. The "Regulations on Announcing Product Quality Standards" shall be promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 2425/2000/QĐ-BKHCNMT dated December 12, 2000 of the Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) regarding the issuance of temporary regulations on announcing quality standards for goods.

Article 3. The Director General of the Standard Measurement Quality Control Department and other relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
