Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Aquatic Resources;
Pursuant to Decision No. 08/2005/QĐ-BTS dated March 7, 2005 of the Minister of Aquatic Resources stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Institute of Aquaculture II;
Considering the report No. 366/VTS II dated August 18, 2005 of the Institute of Aquaculture II;
At the proposal of the Director of the Personnel Organization Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Aquatic Products Processing and Biotechnology Center shall be renamed as the Post-Harvest Technology Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center), which is a scientific public service unit under the Institute of Aquaculture II.
The Center has legal personality, its own seal, and is entitled to open accounts at the State Treasury and the National Bank.
English name for transactions: Centre for Fisheries Post Harvest Technology abbreviated as CEFIPOHATEC.
The Center's headquarters is located at 116 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 2. Based on the assigned functions and tasks of the Institute of Aquaculture II, the Director of the Institute of Aquaculture II is tasked with detailing the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Center after obtaining the agreement of the Ministry.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 471/TS-QĐ dated March 12, 1987 of the Minister of Aquatic Resources regarding the establishment of the Aquatic Products Processing and Biotechnology Center.
All previous regulations that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, Heads of Departments, Directorates, Institutes, Inspectorate of the Ministry, Director of the Institute of Aquaculture II, and Director of the Post-Harvest Technology Center are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
