THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to Directive No. 01-HD/BCSSK dated January 22, 2003 and Supplemental Directive No. 31-HD/BTCTW dated September 1, 2004 of the Central Organization Board guiding the organization, staffing, functions, tasks, powers, and operational mechanisms of the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards;

Pursuant to Document No. 208/BBVCSSKCBTW dated December 18, 2005 of the Central Cadre Health Care Board proposing the issuance of the Provision on the Functions and Professional Duties of the Outpatient Department - Health Management under the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards;

At the proposal of the Director of the Treatment Department and the Director of the Cadre Organization Department, Ministry of Health.

DECISION:

Clause 4 of Article 6Attached to this Decision is the "Provision on the Functions and Professional Duties of the Outpatient Department - Health Management under the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards."

Article 2. The "Provision on the Functions and Professional Duties of the Outpatient Department - Health Management under the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards" serves as the basis for the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards to direct and implement medical examination and treatment activities, health monitoring and management of cadres under their jurisdiction; it also serves as the basis for establishing indicators, plans, human resources, medical equipment, and funding to serve patients.

Article 3. The Director of the Treatment Department shall cooperate with the Central Cadre Health Care Board to be responsible for inspecting and supervising the implementation of this Provision.

Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5.The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Cadre Organization Department, the Director of the Treatment Department, the Heads of the Provincial/City Cadre Health Care Boards, the Directors of the Health Departments of the provinces/cities directly under the Central Government, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
