Regarding the issuance of the Regulation on registration, retention, and utilization

of results from scientific and technological tasks

Pursuant to the Law on Science and Technology dated June 9, 2000;

Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 159/2004/NĐ-CP dated August 31, 2004 of the Government on scientific and technological information activities;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Scientific and Technological Information Center, the Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Natural Sciences.

DECISION:

Article 1. The accompanying this Decision is the "Regulation on registration, retention, and utilization of results from scientific and technological tasks."

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 271/QĐ-UBKHKTNN dated June 6, 1980 of the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) promulgating the Provision on state registration of research topics in science and technology and submission of research result reports.

Article 3. The Director of the National Scientific and Technological Information Center, Heads of Departments: Planning and Finance, Science and Technology of Economic and Engineering Sectors, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, Chief of the Office of the Ministry, Heads of units under the Ministry, Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
