Decision No. 03/2008/QD-BCT Regarding the Correction of the Decision Approving the Overall Plan for the Development of the Nationwide Market Network until 2010 and the Orientation until 2020

DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Amending the Decision Approving the Overall Plan for the Development of Market Networks Nationwide until 2010 and Orientations until 2020

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to Decision No. 12/2007/QD-BCT dated December 26, 2007 of the Minister of Industry and Trade approving the overall plan for the development of market networks nationwide until 2010 and orientations until 2020;

Based on the authorization granted by the Prime Minister allowing the Minister of Industry and Trade to review and approve infrastructure development planning projects for commerce as stated in Official Letter No. 6428/VPCP-KTTH dated November 7, 2007 of the Government Office;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Planning Department;

DECISION:

Article 1 Amend certain points in the appendices attached to Decision No. 12/2007/QD-BCT dated December 26, 2007, specifically as follows:

1. Appendix No. 1: List of National Agricultural Wholesale Markets until 2010 and Orientations until 2020

Remove one wholesale agricultural market located at Cho Moi Town, Dong Thap Province (number 138 in the Mekong Delta Region). Consequently, the total number of wholesale markets in the Mekong Delta Region and nationwide will decrease accordingly as follows:

 2. Appendix No. 2: List of Comprehensive Wholesale and Retail Markets of Class I Nationwide until 2010 and Orientations until 2020.

Add one new market construction project in Hung Yen Province, named Giai Pham Market, located in Yen My District, Hung Yen Province, with a scale of 22,000 m², total investment capital of 22 billion VND, and investment period from 2007 to 2010. Therefore, the total number of markets in the Red River Delta Region and nationwide will increase accordingly as follows:

3. Appendix No. 3: List of Border Markets, Customs Markets, and Border Economic Zone Markets Nationwide until 2010 and Orientations until 2020.

Remove three markets in Son La Province (numbers 217, 218, 222). Consequently, the total number of markets in Son La Province and nationwide will decrease accordingly as follows:

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentOther contents in Decision No. 012/2007/QD-BCT remain unchanged.

Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the central government, and related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision.
