THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE

Pursuant to the Legal Aid Law on June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 07/2007/NĐ-CP dated January 12, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Legal Aid Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 62/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 6, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice;

At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Aid Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached hereto is the Model Statute on the organization and operation of Legal Aid Clubs.

Article 2. Based on specific local conditions, the Director of the Department of Justice shall direct the State Legal Aid Centers and the Justice Departments to guide the People's Justice Committees at communes, wards, and towns in drafting the Statute on the organization and operation of Legal Aid Clubs for approval by the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune, ward, or town where the Legal Aid Club is established, in accordance with the legal provisions on legal aid and the provisions of this Model Statute.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Director of the Legal Aid Department and the Heads of units under the Ministry, the Directors of the Departments of Justice, and the Directors of State Legal Aid Centers are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
