CIRCULAR

Regarding the publication of the list and HS code for asbestos materials belonging to the amphibole group prohibited from importation

Pursuant to Decree No. 17/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;

Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international goods trading activities and related agency, purchase, sale, processing, and transit activities with foreign countries;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Construction Materials;

The Minister of Construction issues this Circular on the publication of the list and HS code for asbestos materials belonging to the amphibole group prohibited from importation.

Article 1

. Publication of the list and HS code for asbestos materials belonging to the amphibole group prohibited from importation (with attached annex).

Article 2

. This Circular takes effect from October 25, 2012, and replaces Decision No. 27/2006/QĐ-BXD dated September 6, 2006 of the Minister of Construction on the publication of the list and HS code for asbestos materials belonging to the amphibole group prohibited from importation as stipulated in Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government.

Article 3

. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provincial People's Committees, municipal People's Committees under the central government, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
