CIRCULAR

Annuls the implementation of Circular No. 15/2019/TT-BKHCN

dated November 15, 2019 issued by the Minister of Science and Technology

promulgating the "National Technical Regulation on Stainless Steel"

Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents dated June 22, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations, and Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Pursuant to Decree No. 95/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 16, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

At the proposal of the Director General of the National Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Department and the Head of the Legal Affairs Department;

The Minister of Science and Technology issues this Circular stipulating the cessation of the implementation of Decision No. 15/2019/TT-BKHCN dated November 15, 2019 of the Minister of Science and Technology promulgating the "National Technical Regulation on Stainless Steel".

Article 1. Annuls the implementation of Circular No. 15/2019/TT-BKHCN dated November 15, 2019 of the Minister of Science and Technology promulgating the "National Technical Regulation on Stainless Steel" until December 31, 2021.

From the date this Circular takes effect, stainless steel produced domestically and imported from June 1, 2020 shall continue to be circulated in the market.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from September 23, 2020.

Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation

1. The Director of the General Department of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control shall be responsible for organizing guidance and implementing this Circular.

2. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provincial People's Committees under the Central Government, and related organizations and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
