Regarding the establishment of a ward under Hong Linh town; Adjusting the administrative boundaries of communes to expand the town of Huong Ke under Huong Ke district, Ha Tinh province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Establish a ward under Hong Linh town; adjust the administrative boundaries of communes to expand the town of Huong Ke, Huong Ke district, Ha Tinh province as follows:
1. Establish Trung Luong ward under Hong Linh town based on the entire 823.94 hectares of natural area and 6,148 population of Trung Luong commune.
Trung Luong ward has 823.94 hectares of natural area and 6,148 population.
Administrative boundary of Trung Luong ward: East borders with Xuan Linh commune, Nghi Xuan district; West borders with Yen Ho and Duc Vinh communes, Duc Tho district; South borders with Duc Thuan ward, Hong Linh town; North borders with Hung Nhan commune, Hung Nguen district, Nghe An province and Xuan Lam commune, Nghi Xuan district.
2. Establish Duc Thuan ward under Hong Linh town based on the entire 853.51 hectares of natural area and 6,056 population of Duc Thuan commune.

Administrative boundary of Dau Lien ward: East borders with Co Dam commune, Nghi Xuan district, Thien Loc commune, Can Loc district; West borders with Thanh Loc commune, Can Loc district, Nam Hong ward and Thuan Loc commune, Hong Linh town; South borders with Vuong Loc commune, Can Loc district; North borders with Xuan Linh and Xuan Vien communes, Nghi Xuan district.
4. Expand the town of Huong Ke under Huong Ke district based on adjusting 127.80 hectares of natural area and 513 population of Huong Long commune; 89.08 hectares of natural area and 792 population of Gia Pho commune; 41.14 hectares of natural area and 431 population of Phu Phong commune; 3.25 hectares of natural area and 77 population of Phu Gia commune.
The town of Huong Ke has 566.25 hectares of natural area and 10,768 population.
Administrative boundary of the town of Huong Ke: East borders with Gia Pho and Loc Yen communes; West borders with Huong Long commune; South borders with Phu Phong and Phu Gia communes; North borders with Huong Long and Gia Pho communes.
After establishing wards and adjusting administrative boundaries:
Hong Linh town has 5,855.23 hectares of natural area and 36,805 population, with 06 subordinate administrative units, including wards: Bac Hong, Nam Hong, Trung Luong, Duc Thuan, Dau Lien and Thuan Loc commune.
- Huong Long commune remains with 1,471.71 hectares of natural area and 4,604 population.
- Gia Pho commune remains with 1,100.25 hectares of natural area and 5,806 population.
- Phu Phong commune remains with 382.36 hectares of natural area and 2,783 population.
- Phu Gia commune remains with 14,134.59 hectares of natural area and 4,776 population.
Huong Ke district has 127,809.09 hectares of natural area and 107,996 population, with 22 subordinate administrative units, including communes: Huong Trach, Phuc Trach, Huong Do, Huong Tra, Huong Lien, Huong Lam, Loc Yen, Huong Xuan, Phu Phong, Huong Vinh, Phu Gia, Huong Long, Gia Pho, Huong Giang, Huong Thuy, Huong Binh, Phuc Dong, Hoa Hai, Ha Linh, Phuong Dien, Phuong My and the town of Huong Ke.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
