DECREE NO. 04/1998/NĐ-CP OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SEVERAL MARKET TOWNS AND COMMUNES IN THE COUNTIES OF CƯ M'GAR, EA H'LEO AND KRÔNG BÔNG, ĐẮK LẮK PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the People's Committee Chairman of Dak Lak Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW, the establishment of market towns and communes in the counties of Cư M'gar, Ea H'leo and Krông Bông, Dak Lak Province, is as follows:
1. Establishing the town of Quảng Phú - the county seat and commune of Quảng Tiến in the county of Cư M'gar based on the entire area and population of the commune of Quảng Phú:
a) The town of Quảng Phú has 1,007 hectares of natural land area and 8,568 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of the town of Quảng Phú: East and South border the commune of Quảng Tiến; West borders the commune of Quảng Tiến and the commune of Cư M'gar; North borders the commune of Ea Kpam and the commune of Cư M'gar.
b) The commune of Quảng Tiến has 2,666 hectares of natural land area and 5,281 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of the commune of Quảng Tiến: East borders the commune of Ea Drơng; West borders the commune of Ea M'nang and the commune of Cư M'gar; South borders the town of Ea Pốk; North borders the town of Quảng Phú and the commune of Cư M'gar.
2. Establishing the town of Ea Drăng - the county seat of the county of Ea H'leo based on 1,688 hectares of natural land area and 12,275 inhabitants of the commune of Ea Khăl.
Administrative boundaries of the town of Ea Drăng: East borders the commune of Dliê Yang; West and South border the commune of Ea Khăl; North borders the commune of Ea Ral.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, the commune of Ea Khăl retains 7,087 hectares of natural land area and 3,611 inhabitants.
3. Establishing the town of Krông Kmar - the county seat of the county of Krông Bông based on 530 hectares of natural land area and 6,000 inhabitants of the commune of Khuê Ngọc Điền.
Administrative boundaries of the town of Krông Kmar: East and North border the commune of Khuê Ngọc Điền; West and South border the commune of Hòa Sơn.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, the commune of Khuê Ngọc Điền retains 6,234 hectares of natural land area and 4,228 inhabitants.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days after its issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
