Regarding the establishment of Cuu Long Private University

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and state management responsibilities of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in Circular No. 9149/TCCB dated September 28, 1999,

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish Cuu Long Private University.

Article 2. Cuu Long Private University is a higher education institution subject to the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training. The university has legal personality, its own seal, and separate accounts. The headquarters of the university is located in Vinh Long Province.

The system of diplomas of Cuu Long Private University belongs to the national diploma system.

Article 3. Cuu Long Private University operates under the law, according to the charter for private universities issued by the Minister of Education and Training, and in accordance with the Statutes of the University approved by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 5. The Minister of Education and Training, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long Province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
