THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management of product and goods quality;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision "Regulations on the Content and Procedures for Announcing Products and Goods Compliant with Standards and Technical Regulations".

Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 2424/2000/QĐ-BKHCNMT dated December 12, 2000 of the Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) regarding temporary regulations on announcing goods compliant with standards.

Article 3. The Director General of the Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Department and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
