THE MINISTER OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 29/2003/NĐ-CP dated March 31, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs;

Pursuant to Decree No. 06/CP dated January 20, 1995 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Labor Code on labor safety and hygiene; Decree No. 110/2002/NĐ-CP of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 06/CP dated January 20, 1995 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Labor Code on labor safety and hygiene;

Pursuant to Circular No. 23/2003/TT-BLĐTBXH dated November 3, 2003 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs providing guidance on procedures for registering and inspecting various types of machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict requirements for labor safety;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Labor Safety.

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Attached to this Decision are the technical safety inspection procedures for lifting equipment - elevators, including:

1. Lifting Equipment - Technical Safety Inspection Procedure (QTKĐ 01-2006);

2. Elevator - Technical Safety Inspection Procedure (QTKĐ 02-2006);

3. Escalator - Technical Safety Inspection Procedure (QTKĐ 03-2006);

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Any provisions contrary to those set forth in this Decision shall be abolished.

Article 3. The Director of the Department of Labor Safety, Directors of Technical Safety Inspection Centers under Ministries, sectors, and provinces, cities directly under the Central Government, management units using various types of machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict requirements for labor safety, and related agencies and organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision.
