Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decision No. 36/2004/QĐ-TTg dated March 17, 2004 of the Prime Minister approving the National Strategy on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control in Vietnam until 2010 and with a vision towards 2020;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, the Head of the Legal Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision hereby promulgates the List of 54 indicators for monitoring and evaluating the National Program on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control (referred to as the National HIV/AIDS Indicators)including three main groups of indicators:including three main groups of indices:
Group 1: group of indicators on enhancing capacity, resources, monitoring, and evaluation comprising 19 indicators;
Group 2: group of indicators on prevention comprising 24 indicators;
Group 3: group of indicators on care, treatment, and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV comprising 11 indicators.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Director of the Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, Heads of Departments, Directors of Centers under the Ministry of Health, Heads of units directly under the Ministry of Health, Provincial Health Directors, and Heads of health services of relevant sectors are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
