Decree No. 04/2012/NĐ-CP amends and supplements Article 5 of Decree No. 79/2007/NĐ-CP dated May 18, 2007 of the Government on issuing certified copies from original registers, certifying copies from original documents, and certifying signatures.

Amending and supplementing Article 5 of Decree No. 79/2007/NĐ-CP dated May 18, 2007 of the Government

on issuing certified copies from original registers,  certifying true copies from original documents, and certifying signatures

Amending and supplementing Clause 1 of Article 5 regarding the authority and responsibility for certifying true copies from original documents and certifying signatures under Decree No. 79/2007/NĐ-CP dated May 18, 2007 of the Government on issuing certified copies from original registers, certifying true copies from original documents, and certifying signatures:

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Justice,

DECREE:

Article 1. 1. Points a and b of Clause 1 of Article 5 are amended as follows:

a) Certifying true copies from original documents in foreign languages and bilingual documents.

b) Certifying the signature of the translator in documents and texts translated from foreign languages into Vietnamese or from Vietnamese into foreign languages; certifying signatures in documents and texts in foreign languages and bilingual documents.

2. Supplementing Point c to Clause 1 of Article 5 as follows:

c) Certifying the matters specified in Clause 2 of Article 5 of Decree No. 79/2007/NĐ-CP.

This Decree takes effect from March 5, 2012.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect from March 5, 2012.

Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the central city shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
