REGULATIONS ON THE NON-APPLICATION OF QUOTA DUTIES
FOR IMPORTED SALT AND POULTRY EGGS OF ORIGIN FROM
ASEAN COUNTRIES
Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
IMPLEMENTING THE COMMITMENT TO ELIMINATE QUOTA DUTY UNDER THE ASEAN TRADE IN GOODS AGREEMENT;
At the proposal of the Director of the Import-Export Department,
The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular to regulate the non-application of quota duties for imported salt and poultry eggs of origin from ASEAN countries.
Article 1. General Provisions
1. The quota duty system shall not be applied to salt and poultry eggs of origin from ASEAN countries that comply with the provisions on the origin of goods under the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement and have a Certificate of Origin Form D as prescribed by current laws. The commodity codes for salt and poultry eggs are specified as follows:

2. The importation of salt and poultry eggs from ASEAN countries is not subject to the scope of legal regulations concerning the announcement of quota volumes and the principles governing annual quota management for salt and poultry eggs.
Article 2. REGULATING THE RATE OF IMPORT DUTY
The rate of import duty on salt and poultry eggs of origin from ASEAN countries shall be implemented in accordance with the Government's regulations.
Article 3. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from May 17, 2018./.
