Regarding the approval of the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned farms under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the restructuring, modernization, and development of state-owned farms;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned farms directly under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City as follows:
1. Continue to consolidate the state-owned farms directly under the management and transform them into the following limited liability companies with one member:
- City Crop Company,
- City Dairy Company.
2. Dissolve Lang Le State Farm.
Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned farms as provided in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to the companies in accordance with the local agricultural development plan and the development plan of each unit as proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the report No. 3248/BNN-ĐMDN dated December 5, 2006.
Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related agencies shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in implementing this Plan.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
