JOINT CIRCULAR

GUIDELINES FOR SUPPLEMENTING THE JOINT CIRCULAR NO. 17/2006/TTLT-BLDTBXH-BTC-BYT OF THE JOINT MINISTRIES OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF FINANCE, AND MINISTRY OF HEALTH ON REGULATIONS FOR HEALTH CARE FOR PERSONS WITH MERIT IN THE REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE

Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2006/NĐ-CP dated May 26, 2006 of the Government guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Merit in the Revolutionary Struggle;

The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Health supplements the subjects entitled to health insurance benefits as stipulated in Section II Part I of the Joint Circular No. 17/2006/TTLT-BLDTBXH-BTC-BYT dated November 21, 2006.

Amend and supplement Section II Part I of the Joint Circular No. 17/2006/TTLT-BLDTBXH-BTC-BYT dated November 21, 2006 as follows:

"For persons who were engaged in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945 and those who were engaged in revolutionary activities from January 1, 1945 to before the August 19 Revolution; Mothers of Vietnam's Heroic Sons and Daughters; war invalids, persons receiving treatment policies similar to war invalids, class B war invalids, and disabled veterans with a labor capacity reduction of 81% or more; war invalids, persons receiving treatment policies similar to war invalids, class B war invalids, and disabled veterans undergoing treatment for recurrent injuries or illnesses; persons aged 90 years or older: The health insurance fund shall cover 100% of the costs of services."

This circular takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties, localities and units should promptly report them to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Health for consideration and resolution./.
