CIRCULAR
REGULATING THE TITLES AND CODE NUMBERS OF THE RANKS OF LEGAL ASSISTANT CIVIL SERVANTS

THE MINISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 48/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 17, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 116/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 10, 2003 of the Government on the recruitment, utilization, and management of cadres and civil servants in state-run units and the DECREE NO. 121/2006/NĐ-CP dated October 23, 2006 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of the DECREE NO. 116/2003/NĐ-CP;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE AT THE LETTER NO. 1317/BTP-TGPL DATED MAY 12, 2010 REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE TITLES AND CODE NUMBERS OF THE RANKS OF LEGAL ASSISTANT CIVIL SERVANTS;
THE MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS ISSUES THE TITLES AND CODE NUMBERS OF THE RANKS OF LEGAL ASSISTANT CIVIL SERVANTS AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1. ISSUING THE TITLES AND CODE NUMBERS OF THE RANKS OF LEGAL ASSISTANT CIVIL SERVANTS, INCLUDING:
1. SENIOR LEGAL ASSISTANT
2. Legal aid officer - Job code: 03.290
Article 2. The titles and job codes of the ranks of legal aid officers prescribed in this Circular shall serve as the basis for the Ministry of Justice to issue the professional standards for the ranks of legal aid officers.
Article 3. This Circular shall take effect 45 days from the date of issuance.
Article 4. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Governmental Agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
