ISSUING THE SUPPLEMENTARY LIST OF PLANT VARIETIES PERMITTED FOR PRODUCTION AND TRADE IN VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;
Pursuant to the Seed Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the Director of the Crop Production Department;
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT hereby issues the Supplementary List of Plant Varieties Permitted for Production and Trade in Vietnam.
Article 1. This Circular hereby promulgates the supplementary list of crop varieties permitted to produce and trade in Vietnam, including 10 rice varieties and 03 maize varieties (Annex attached).
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from March 8, 2013.
Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Crop Production Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
