1. Supplementing Point o Clause 1 Article 10 as follows:developmentIn a single livestock and poultry feed product, only up to two types of antibiotics specified in the List issued together with this Circular may be used; if two types of antibiotics are used, there must be scientific grounds.
Article 1. Scope of Regulation
Organizations and individuals are only allowed to use premix containing antibiotic levels not exceeding 20% to mix into complete mixed feed for livestock and poultry at the levels prescribed in this Circular; it shall not be used for other purposes.
Article 2. Applicability
Antibiotics used in livestock and poultry feed with the purpose of promoting growth in Vietnam listed in the List issued together with this Circular shall only be applicable until December 31, 2017.
Article 3. General Principles
Livestock and poultry feed products currently permitted for circulation in Vietnam containing antibiotics that do not meet the provisions of this Circular shall only be allowed to circulate until December 31, 2016.
This Circular takes effect from July 15, 2016.
This Circular replaces the provisions on antibiotics used in livestock and poultry feed in Circular No. 81/2009/TT-BNNPTNT dated December 25, 2009 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issuing National Technical Regulations in the field of livestock and poultry feed.
1. The Director of the Livestock Production Department is assigned the main responsibility for implementing state management functions over the business and use of premix and livestock and poultry feed containing antibiotics prescribed in this Circular.
Article 5. Effective Date
2. Heads of units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and related organizations and individuals are responsible for coordinating the implementation of this Circular.
