Article 1. ADD THE FOLLOWING CONTENT TO ARTICLE 2 OF CIRCULAR NO. 10/2019/TT-BNNPTNT DATED SEPTEMBER 20, 2019 ON THE ISSUE OF THE LIST OF PLANT PROTECTION CHEMICALS PERMITTED FOR USE AND PROHIBITED FROM USE IN VIETNAM:
"PLANT PROTECTION CHEMICALS CONTAINING GLYPHOSATE AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT SHALL NOT BE PRODUCED OR IMPORTED; THEY MAY ONLY BE SOLD AND USED UNTIL JUNE 30, 2021."
Article 2. Effective Date
THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JUNE 9, 2020.
Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation
1. THE DIRECTOR OF THE PLANT PROTECTION DEPARTMENT, HEADS OF UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS, DIRECTORS OF CITY AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, AND ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS RELATED THERETO SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR.
2. IN THE COURSE OF IMPLEMENTATION, IF THERE ARE ANY DIFFICULTIES OR OBSTACLES, WE URGE THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS TO REPORT TO THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (THROUGH THE PLANT PROTECTION DEPARTMENT) FOR REVIEW AND PROMPT RESOLUTION./.
