Regarding the grant for Tet Nguyen Dan and the New Millennium

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

At the proposal of the Minister of Finance,

DECISION:

Article 1. On the occasion of Tet Nguyen Dan Tan Ty and the New Millennium, a grant of 100,000 VND/person shall be provided to the following categories:

- Administrative civil servants, public service staff, Party members, mass organizations; officers, professional soldiers, defense workers under the People's Army; officers, non-commissioned officers, workers under the People's Public Security currently receiving salaries from the State Budget.

- Retirees, those who have ceased working due to loss of labor capacity, accidents at work, and occupational diseases currently receiving pensions and monthly allowances.

- Those currently receiving monthly preferential allowances including: revolutionary activists; relatives of martyrs; those who have contributed to the revolution; Mothers of Vietnam Heroic, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor; war invalids, disease invalids, persons treated as war invalids.

Article 2. For individuals belonging to multiple categories as stipulated in Article 1 above, they shall only receive one grant of 100,000 VND according to this Decision.

Individuals belonging to the categories specified in Article 1 above, if they have already received Tet grants pursuant to Document No. 2827CV/TCTW dated December 28, 2000 of the Central Organization Committee, shall not receive the grant under this Decision.

Article 3. The funds for implementing the grant under this Decision shall be sourced from the State Budget allocation for the year 2000 and additional revenue from the State Budget for the year 2000 reported to the National Assembly at its eighth session, tenth term.

As for the categories under agencies and units where the State has specific regulations on bonus systems, they shall arrange their own resources to implement the aforementioned grant system.

Article 4. The Minister of Finance and the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs are responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Article 5. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 6. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and centrally governed city People's Committees are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
