Decree No. 07/2002/NĐ-CP of the Government on the establishment of Tan Thanh commune under Go Cong Tay district and Tang Hoa commune under Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province. DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts
Go Cong Tay, Go Cong Dong, Tien Giang Province
THE GOVERNMENT
BASED ON the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Organization Department of the Government;
DECREE:
Article 1. The establishment of communes under Go Cong Tay and Go Cong Dong districts, Tien Giang Province, is hereby provided as follows:
1. Establish Tan Thanh commune under Go Cong Tay district based on 1,134.32 hectares of natural area and 2,836 population from Tan Phu commune; 550.2 hectares of natural area and 1,769 population from Tan Thoi commune; 552.51 hectares of natural area and 358 population from Phu Thanh commune. Tan Thanh commune will have 2,237.03 hectares of natural area and 4,963 population. The administrative boundary of Tan Thanh commune: East borders Phu Dong commune, Go Cong Dong district; West borders Ben Tre province; South borders Ben Tre province; North borders Tan Thoi, Tan Phu, and Phu Thanh communes. After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tan Thanh commune, Tan Phu commune will retain 1,893.08 hectares of natural area and 8,990 population; Tan Thoi commune will retain 2,189.3 hectares of natural area and 11,699 population; Phu Thanh commune will retain 2,299.39 hectares of natural area and 6,270 population.
2. Establish Tang Hoa commune under Go Cong Dong district based on 1,745.67 hectares of natural area and 9,568 population from Tan Hoa town. The administrative boundary of Tang Hoa commune: East borders Tan Thanh commune; West borders Tan Hoa town; South borders Phu Dong and Phu Tan communes; North borders Binh An, Tan Dien, and Binh Nghi communes. After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tang Hoa commune, Tan Hoa town will retain 322.74 hectares of natural area and 5,298 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Organization Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
