Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/ND-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 201/2004/ND-CP dated December 10, 2004 of the Government on issuing the Management Regulation for Social Science and Humanities Activities;

Pursuant to Decision No. 67/2006/QD-TTg dated March 21, 2006 of the Prime Minister approving the orientation, objectives, and main tasks of science and technology for the five-year period 2006-2010;

Pursuant to Decision No. 06/2007/QD-BKHCN dated April 3, 2007 of the Minister of Science and Technology promulgating the "Regulation on Organizational Management of the National Key Social Science Program 'Theoretical Political Science Research for the Period 2006-2010'";

Considering the proposals of the Heads of the Department of Social Sciences and Natural Sciences and the Department of Planning and Finance.

Attached to this Decision are the "Regulations on Determining Research Topics under the National Key Social Science Program 'Theoretical Political Science Research for the Period 2006-2010', code KX.04/06-10".

This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 1. The Heads of the Department of Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, the Department of Planning and Finance, the Director of the Office, the Directors of the Program Offices, the Heads of units under the Ministry, the Chairperson of Program KX.04/06-10, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Heads of the Social Sciences and Natural Sciences Department, the Planning and Finance Department, the Director of the Office, the Directors of the Programs' Offices, the Heads of units under the Ministry, the Head of Program KX.04/06-10, and the Heads of related agencies and organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
