ISSUING THE LIST OF AREAS WITH SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC CONDITIONS APPLYING A MINIMUM COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION FREQUENCY OF ONCE PER WEEK

BASED ON THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAW dated May 25, 2002;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 187/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 25, 2007 ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 157/2004/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2004 of the Government providing detailed regulations on certain provisions of the TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAW concerning postal services;
At the proposal of the Director of the Post Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION IS THE "LIST OF AREAS WITH SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC CONDITIONS APPLYING A MINIMUM COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION FREQUENCY OF ONCE PER WEEK".
Article 2. IN EACH PERIOD, THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION WILL ADJUST THE LIST OF AREAS WITH SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC CONDITIONS TO BE SUITABLE WITH THE ACTUAL SITUATION OF EACH LOCALITY.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 4. THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT, DIRECTOR OF THE POST DEPARTMENT, HEADS OF THE ORGANIZATIONS AND UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION, AND THE GENERAL DIRECTOR OF VIETNAM POST CORPORATION ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
