Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BKHCN amends and supplements Clause 2 of Article 7 of Circular No. 17/2011/TT-BKHCN dated June 30, 2011, issued by the Minister of Science and Technology, regarding the National Quality Award

CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing Clause 2 of Article 7 of Circular No. 17/2011/TT-BKHCN dated June 30, 2011 issued by the Minister of Science and Technology regarding the National Quality Award

Pursuant to the Law on Product Quality and Commodities dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to Decree No. 28/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 14, 2008, promulgated by the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

Pursuant to Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Product Quality Law;

Considering the proposal of the General Director of the Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Department;

The Minister of Science and Technology issues this Circular to amend and supplement Clause 2 of Article 7 of Circular No. 17/2011/TT-BKHCN dated June 30, 2011, issued by the Minister of Science and Technology regarding the National Quality Award.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing Clause 2 of Article 7 of Circular No. 17/2011/TT-BKHCN dated June 30, 2011, issued by the Minister of Science and Technology regarding the National Quality Award

Clause 2 of Article 7 of Circular No. 17/2011/TT-BKHCN dated June 30, 2011, issued by the Minister of Science and Technology regarding the National Quality Award (hereinafter referred to as the National Quality Award) is amended and supplemented as follows:
"2. The National Quality Gold Award shall be presented to organizations and enterprises that are rated as the best among four types and have a total score of at least 800 points based on the criteria of the National Quality Award. The National Quality Gold Award shall not be awarded to more than twenty organizations and enterprises of the various types."

Article 2. Responsibility for implementation

The General Department of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Assurance is responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of this Circular.

Article 3. Implementation Provisions

1. This Circular takes effect from June 1, 2012.

2. The Director of the General Department of Standardization, Metrology and Quality, the Head of the Legal Department, the Director of the Ministry's Office, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
