CIRCULAR

AMENDING THE CIRCULAR NO. 21/2017/TT-BCT OF OCTOBER 23, 2017 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON LEVELS OF LIMITS FOR FORMALDEHYDE AND AROMATIC AMINES DERIVED FROM AZO DYES IN TEXTILE AND GARMENT PRODUCTS

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Product Quality and Commodities dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2017 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Based on Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions

Pursuant to Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Product Quality;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

The Minister of Industry and Trade hereby issues this Circular amending Circular No. 21/2017/TT-BCT dated October 23, 2017 issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on National Technical Regulations on Levels of Limits for Formaldehyde and Aromatic Amines Derived from Azo Dyes in Textile and Garment Products.

Article 1. Article 2 of Circular No. 21/2017/TT-BCT shall be amended as follows: "This Circular shall take effect from January 1, 2019."

Article 2. Effectiveness

This Circular takes effect from the date of signature./.
