Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 45/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 9, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs;
Pursuant to Decree No. 122/2004/NĐ-CP dated May 18, 2004 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of legal affairs departments of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, specialized agencies under provincial people's committees directly under the central government, and state-owned enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish the Legal Affairs Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs to assist the Minister of Home Affairs in the legal affairs work of the Ministry
The Minister of Home Affairs shall specify in detail the functions, tasks, powers, and staffing of the Legal Affairs Department.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Minister of Home Affairs is responsible for implementing this Decision.
