Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2002/NĐ-CP dated January 22, 2002 of the Government on surveying and mapping activities;

Pursuant to Decree No. 91/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

At the proposal of the Director of the General Department of Surveying and Mapping,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Regulations on the Application of National Basic Geographic Information Standards issued together with Decision No. 06/2007/QĐ-BTNMT dated February 27, 2007 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment are amended as follows:

1. Chapter II, Section 8: Regulations on the Application of Data Presentation Standards

Page 24: Article 22. General Provisions on Data Presentation Standards, now amended to Article 23. General Provisions on Data Presentation Standards.

2. Chapter II, Section 9: Regulations on the Application of Coding Standards for Data Exchange

Page 27: Article 23. Scope of Application, now amended to Article 24. Scope of Application;

Page 27: Article 24. General Provisions on Coding Standards for Data Exchange, now amended to Article 25. General Provisions on Coding Standards for Data Exchange.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Director of the General Department of Surveying and Mapping, Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment under central cities, Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
