CIRCULAR

Issuing the Principles of Professional Ethics for Pharmacists

Pursuant to the Medicine Law No. 105/2016/QH13 dated April 6, 2016;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2017/NĐ-CP dated June 20, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Medicine Management, Ministry of Health,

The Minister of Health issues this Circular on issuing the Principles of Professional Ethics for Pharmacists.

Article 1. Principles of Professional Ethics for Pharmacists

This Circular annexes the "Principles of Professional Ethics for Pharmacists."

Article 2. Effective Date

1. This Circular takes effect from August 13, 2021.

2. Decision No. 2397/QĐ-BYT dated August 10, 1999 of the Minister of Health on issuing regulations "Professional Ethics for Pharmacists" shall be repealed as of the effective date of this Circular.

Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation and Organization

The Director of the Ministry's Office; the Inspector General of the Ministry; Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus, and Directors of General Bureaus under the Ministry of Health; Heads of units directly subordinate to the Ministry of Health; Directors of Provincial Health Services and Municipal Health Services under central jurisdiction; heads of drug practice establishments and organizations and individuals related thereto are responsible for implementing this Circular.
