Regarding the transfer of the Material and Electrical Engineering Company under the direct management of

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises, and Decree No. 38/CP dated April 28, 1997 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 50/CP;

Pursuant to Decision No. 68/1998/QĐ-TTg dated March 27, 1998 of the Prime Minister on allowing pilot establishment of state-owned enterprises in training institutions and research centers;

At the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Electrical Equipment Engineering Corporation (document No. 38/CV-TGĐ dated February 10, 1999) and the Director of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Transfer the Material and Electrical Engineering Company, currently an independent accounting member of the Electrical Equipment Engineering Corporation, to become a dependent accounting unit directly under the Institute of Electrical Equipment Technology. The Material and Electrical Engineering Company shall have limited legal personality, operate in accordance with laws and regulations stipulated by the Director of the Institute of Electrical Equipment Technology, maintain a bank account, and use a seal for transactions in compliance with state regulations.

Article 2. The main tasks of the Institute of Electrical Equipment Technology after receiving the Material and Electrical Engineering Company are:

- To conduct technical preparation for the development of electrical equipment products and implement scientific research projects in the field of electrical equipment;

- To manufacture special electrical equipment products according to market demands; supply materials and electrical engineering equipment to the industry and societal needs.

Article 3. The General Director of the Electrical Equipment Engineering Corporation is responsible for organizing and directing the transfer of the Material and Electrical Engineering Company in its entirety to the Director of the Institute of Electrical Equipment Technology in accordance with state regulations.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signing. It abolishes Decision No. 251/QĐ-TCNSĐT dated May 20, 1993 of the Heavy Industry Ministry.

Article 5. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General, Heads of relevant Departments, the Board of Directors and the General Director of the Electrical Equipment Engineering Corporation, the Director of the Institute of Electrical Equipment Technology, and the Director of the Material and Electrical Engineering Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
