Regarding the issuance of the fee for visiting the Thong Nhat Hall

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and agencies at the ministerial level;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 853/1997/CT-TTg dated October 11, 1997 on combating smuggling under new circumstances;
Pursuant to Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the State budget;
Pursuant to the provisions stipulated in Circular No. 63/TC/TCT dated October 28, 1992 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the issuance, management, and utilization of various types of fee collection receipts according to Decision No. 276/CT dated July 28, 1992 of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now Prime Minister).
After receiving comments from the Office of the Government (Letter No. 5583/VPCP-TV dated December 6, 1999) and upon the proposal of the Director General of the General Department of Taxation,
Pursuant to …;
Article 1. The fee for visiting the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City is set as follows:
- Adults: VND 15,000 per visit per person.
- Children: VND 2,000 per visit per person.
Article 2. The fee levels prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision shall be uniformly applied to Vietnamese and foreign visitors to the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, except for the following exempted or reduced cases:
1. Exemption of fees for visiting groups consisting of representatives and invited guests of Party and State agencies.
2. A 30% reduction in the prescribed fee level for visitors traveling in groups of 20 people or more. The management authority of the Thong Nhat Hall shall handle the exemption and reduction of fees for each category specified in this Article.
Article 3. The entity responsible for collecting the fee for visiting the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City shall be responsible for collecting, remitting, and managing the entrance fee for the Thong Nhat Hall as prescribed in this Decision in accordance with Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the State budget and Circular No. 54/1999/TT-BTC dated May 10, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance guiding its implementation.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of signature; all regulations concerning the fee for visiting the Thong Nhat Hall that conflict with this Decision shall be abolished.
Article 5. Organizations and individuals subject to payment of the fee; entities assigned by the Office of the Government to organize the collection of the fee for visiting the Thong Nhat Hall and related agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
