CIRCULAR
Regarding the adjustment of technical specifications for foam generating nozzles AFC-170 and AFC-330 in Circular Joint Circular No. 15/2001/TTLT-BTM-BCA dated May 10, 2001. After more than one year of implementing Circular Joint Circular No. 15/2001/TTLT-BTM-BCA dated May 10, 2001 of the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Public Security on equipping and managing firefighting equipment in oil storage facilities and oil products, the Circular has had a positive effect and serves as the main basis for designing, equipping, and managing firefighting equipment in oil storage facilities and oil products, contributing to ensuring safety in business operations with efficiency.
With the agreement of the Ministry of Public Security in Document No. 1586/BCA/C11(C23) dated October 2, 2002, the Ministry of Trade represents both Ministries to issue this Circular to amend certain contents in Circular Joint Circular No. 15/2001/TTLT-BTM-BCA.
This Circular adjusts the technical specifications of the two types of foam generating nozzles specified in Appendix No. 2 of Circular Joint Circular No. 15/2001/TTLT-BTM-BCA as follows:
- In column number 4 of Table 5 in Appendix No. 2 (page 10):
Foam generating nozzle AFC (GFC) - 170 has the technical specification of foam solution flow rate of 5.93 - 17.22 1/s instead of the previous specification of 5.89 - 10.5 1/s.
- In column number 5 of Table 5 in Appendix No. 2 (page 10):
Foam generating nozzle AFC (GFC) - 330 has the technical specification of foam solution flow rate of 11.55 - 38.48 1/s instead of the previous specification of 8.87 - 14.35 1/s.
The GFC-330 foam generator with a foam flow rate specification of 11.55 - 38.48 1/s replaces the specification of 8.87-14.35 1/s.
This Circular takes effect from the date of signature./.
