Regarding the establishment of Hợp Hòa town, Tam Dương district, Vinh Phuc province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish Hợp Hòa town - the district capital of Tam Dương district, Vinh Phuc province, as follows:
Establish Hợp Hòa town based on the entire natural area and population of Hợp Hòa commune; 278.92 hectares of natural area and 3,516 inhabitants of Đạo Tú commune; 23.51 hectares of natural area and 656 inhabitants of An Hòa commune. Hợp Hòa town has 860.69 hectares of natural area and 9,829 inhabitants. The administrative boundary of Hợp Hòa town: East borders with Hướng Đạo commune; West borders with An Hòa commune; South borders with Đạo Tú commune; North borders with Đồng Tĩnh and Hoàng Hoa communes. After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Hợp Hòa town: - Đạo Tú commune retains 787.56 hectares of natural area and 5,270 inhabitants. - An Hòa commune retains 733.25 hectares of natural area and 6,480 inhabitants.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
