Pursuant to the Ordinance amending and supplementing certain articles of the Civil Servant Ordinance 2003;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 117/2003/ND-CP dated October 10, 2003 on recruitment, utilization, and management of civil servants in state agencies;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 45/2003/ND-CP dated May 9, 2003 stipulating the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at Circular No. 1730/BNN/TCCB dated July 12, 2006 regarding the issuance of professional standards for forest ranger ranks in the Forest Protection sector;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Civil Servants and Public Officials Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issuing job titles, code numbers, and professional standards for forest ranger ranks in the Forest Protection sector (attached with this Decision), including:

Article 2. The professional standards for forest ranger ranks serve as the basis for implementing recruitment, utilization, and management of the civil servant workforce in the Forest Protection sector.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. This Decision replaces Decision No. 409/TCCP-VC dated May 29, 1993 of the Minister - Head of the Organizational Cadre Department under the Government (now the Ministry of Home Affairs) on issuing professional standards for forest ranger ranks in the Forestry sector; abolishes the senior forest ranger rank (code number 10.078), forest ranger rank (code number 10.079), and basic-level forest ranger rank (code number 10.080) in the list of civil servant ranks attached to Decision No. 78/2004/QD-BNV dated November 3, 2004 of the Minister of Home Affairs on issuing the list of civil servant ranks and public official ranks.
Article 5. Minister, head of ministerial-level agency, head of government-affiliated agency, Chairperson of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed citiesare responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
