THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decision No. 3486/2001/QĐ-BYT dated August 13, 2001 of the Minister of Health promulgating the Regulations on the management of chemicals, insecticides, and bactericides for domestic and medical use;
At the proposal of the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department of the Ministry of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this Decision is the List of chemicals, insecticides, and bactericides for domestic and medical use permitted to be registered for use, permitted to be registered but with restricted use, and prohibited from use in Vietnam in 2006.
Article 2. Chemicals not included in the List prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision shall be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Ministry of Health for registration for use.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The Decision No. 05/2005/QĐ-BYT dated February 18, 2005 of the Minister of Health regarding the issuance of the List of chemicals, insecticides, and bactericides permitted to be registered for use, permitted to be registered but with restricted use, and prohibited from use in the domestic and medical sectors in Vietnam in 2005 is hereby repealed.
Article 4. Gentlemen and Ladies: Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, and Departments under the Ministry of Health; Directors of the Preventive Medicine Department, Drug Administration Department, HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Department, Food Safety and Quality Assurance Department; Heads of units directly under the Ministry; Directors of Provincial Health Services; Heads of related units, organizations, and individuals within and outside Vietnam engaged in the production, trade, and use of chemicals, insecticides, and bactericides for domestic and medical use in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision.
