MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT
Based on the Ordinance on the exploitation and protection of meteorological and hydrological works;
Based on the Government's Decree No. 24/CP dated March 19, 1997 detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on the exploitation and protection of meteorological and hydrological works;
Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director of the Planning Department and the Director of the Legal Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. The economic and technical standards for the network of meteorological and hydrological stations are hereby issued together with this Decision.
Article 2. These economic and technical standards for the network of meteorological and hydrological stations shall be uniformly applied throughout the country and shall take effect fifteen days after publication in the Official Gazette, thereby terminating the effectiveness of Decision No. 71/QĐ-KTTV dated February 6, 1996 of the General Director of the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting on issuing equipment, materials, and technical labor standards for the network of basic investigation meteorological and hydrological stations.
Article 3. Heads of units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, centrally governed cities, and organizations and individuals related to the operation of the network of meteorological and hydrological stations are responsible for implementing this Decision.
