Issuing National Technical Regulations on Lifting Equipment for Inland Waterway Vessels

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 2017 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and the Director General of Vietnam Ship Registry;
The Minister of Transport issues this Circular on National Technical Regulations on Lifting Equipment for Inland Waterway Vessels.
Article 1. This Circular hereby promulgates the National Technical Regulations on Lifting Equipment for Inland Waterway Vessels attached hereto.
Registration code: QCVN 96:2016/BGTVT.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from September 28, 2017.
Article 3. The Director of the Ministry’s Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Directors of Departments, Director General of Vietnam Ship Registry, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, organizations and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
