Pursuant to Decree No. 29/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Trade;
Pursuant to Decree No. 57/1998/NĐ-CP dated July 31, 1998 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding export, import, processing, and agency sales of goods with foreign countries;
Pursuant to the requirement to protect the reputation of Vietnamese exported goods on the international market;
At the proposal of the Director of the Import-Export Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this Decision is the Provisional List of Goods for Temporary Importation for Re-export, Transshipment, and Import of Semi-finished Products for Processing under the Permit of the Ministry of Trade.
Article 2. The temporary importation, re-export, transshipment, and import for processing of goods not included in the Provisional List of Goods mentioned in Article 1 of this Decision shall continue to be implemented according to the regulations on trading through temporary importation for re-export, the regulations on trading through transshipment, issued together with Decision No. 1311/1998/QĐ-BTM dated October 31, 1998 of the Minister of Trade, and the regulations on processing of goods stipulated in Circular No. 18/1998/TT-BTM dated August 28, 1998 and Circular No. 20/2001/TT-BTM dated August 17, 2001 of the Ministry of Trade.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. Mr. Director of the Department of Import-Export, Directors, Heads of units related to the Ministry of Trade, enterprises engaged in temporary importation for re-export, transshipment, and import for processing of goods specified in the Provisional List of Goods above are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
